Colonel’s Island has just over 500 acres that are leased or owned by the automobile industry and there’s nearly 800 acres available for expansion.
Mayors Point Terminal- Break Bulk
Mayor’s Point is within 11 miles of the Park has been hugely successful because of the direct access to rail and Interstate 95. GPA provides efficient breakbulk and project cargo handling with a 1,750-foot berth, adjacent warehousing, and direct CSX and Norfolk Southern rail service.
Brunswick-Golden Isles Airport

The Golden Isles Development Authority (GIDA) has been working with both the manufacturer and nonprofit to coordinate a mutually beneficial agreement that supports each organization’s expansion in Glynn County.
Symrise intends to invest approximately $18,600,000 in the taxable property during Phase I of their Brunswick facility’s expansion. Symrise is headquartered in Germany, has more than 100 global locations and customers in 160 countries around the world.
The Golden Isles Welcomes Tech Startup Portum
Portum is empowering health safety in our communities through technology. In the past year, the Golden Isles Development Authority (GIDA) worked closely with the Board of Commissioners and staff of Glynn County to get Portum launched into The App Store.
